New Bus Added in CoU Transport Sector
A new bus has been added to the Comilla University (CoU) transport sector. The University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Emran Kabir Chowdhury Inaugurated the bus in front of the administrative building of the university on Monday. The university authorities bought the 40-seat bus from Hino Company at a cost of Taka 78 lakhs.
This new bus will move for the university students. With the new one, the number of buses for the students to the university ownership reached at five. The bus is expected to reduce at least a little misery of journey of the students.
During the inauguration of the bus, the Vice-Chancellor said, “The bus will solve some problems of the transport crisis of the students. Student’s responsibility is to make the best use of the bus. We hope to be able to add more 3-4 bus into university transport sector soon. All of which will be given to the students.’
In the inauguration of the new bus, the registrar of the university (acting) Md. Abu Taher, General Secretary of the Teachers Association N. M. Rabiul Awal Chowdhury, members of the university transport committee, members of the bus purchasing committee, teachers of different departments, University BCL leaders, students, officers, and employees were attended there.
