A theatre director has responsibility for the overall practical and creative interpretation of a dramatic script or musical score.

They are involved in the whole process, from the design and pre-production stages, right through to the final performance.

Directors work closely with their creative and production teams, the performers and the producer to create a performance which connects with the audience. They, therefore, need to be able to coordinate effectively across a range of disciplines and with artistic vision.

2. How did you initially break into the fashion industry as a choreographer?

I will always choreography over styling as I am a born dancer & I have an eternal love towards dance.

over styling as I am a born dancer & I have an eternal love towards dance.

You have worked with some extremely talented & famous models? What was most memorable about experiences?

Through I have choreographed a lot of Bollywood stars, I think my experience with Govinda was the best. He is a human being & is fun to work with.

3. Tell me the differences between Choreography & styling?

Both are different zone, one is more into body language & expressing emotions & the other is more into vision.

With several Western dance forms being used in Bollywood now, one wonders what the future holds for Bollywood dance?

I believe Bollywood dance has a great future ahead, Slowly it is making its grip internationally. It has a culture base & Western Essence.

4. What do you advice you give to aspiring Choreographers?

Take time, plan & think, spread little time alone with others thoughts, so that they can create new material & express it properly. No copy, This will kill real art & there will be no revolution.
