Shakila Gaffar at the grand opening ceremony of ‘Colors of Life’

If they are beside me I am ready to run for (Kamrun Malek, Hasina Zakaria, Abida Mostafa, Ruhe Mostafa, Akther Banu)”-that was true excitement for Shakila Gaffar’s speech after successful completion of the opening ceremony of ‘Colors of Life’.
The charitable organization ‘Colors of Life’ has debuted with the ability to stand beside deprived, neglected, educated people. Grand Opening was held in a city hotel on October 26. Giving donations among patients suffering from cancer, sewing machine distribution among the destitute women, distribution of education material among street children, martyr freedom fighters and national cricketer Tamim Iqbal were honoured.
Presided over by the President of Colors of Life, Shakila Gaffar, was the chief guest at the meeting, Lion Club of International’s first Vice District Governor Lion Kamrun Malek The chief speaker was Professor Hasina Zakaria Bella, eminent educationist and cultural personality.
Senior Vice President of Chittagong Women’s Chamber Commerce and Industry Abida Mustafa, Senior Vice President of Women Chamber of Commerce Industry and Chief Advisor of Colors of Life Ruhie Mustafa, Professor Dr Nurjahan Bhuiyan, Channel I Chittagong Bureau Chief, Chowdhury Farid.
Guests inaugurated the magazine publication of the Colors of Life on an opening day and started their journey to cut cakes.
Among others, Sponsor Alhaj Lion Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan, Colors of Life Advisor Mustafiz Jamshed Chowdhury, General Secretary Kohinur Rahman Asha, Masukul Alam and Elias Ripon also spoke among others. Fashion designer Biplob Saha and actress Api Karim took part in the cultural event.
In the end, singer Monowar Hossain and Flora performed music.
