I enjoy my work as an engineer and as a model: Fati Cherrak
1. Why did you want to be a model?
It has always been my dream to defy expectations and prove the world wrong by being able to make a living by working as an engineer while being a model at the same time.
2. What inspired you to participate in the competition miss world university?
I was inspired by my ability to raise awareness through my work as a model and this competition provided me with the opportunity to do so.
3. What do you want to achieve?
I want to achieve universal education for everyone, especially in my country as I believe that education can empower an individual to fulfil his/her own needs.
4. What brought you to Paris?
Well, I have always been fond of Paris, it’s beaming with art and culture and also I had an opportunity to do an engineering internship at a very prestigious international company General Electric.
5. What’s keeping you busy?
I have regular work hours during the week and at the weekend, I usually have a lot of photoshoots with international photographers and fashion designers that keeps me busy. my calendar is full of invitations to huge events that sometimes necessitates my attendance.
6. How does your work as an engineer influence your work as a model?
I enjoy my work as an engineer and as a model. They are very different from each other and that what makes it all the more interesting for me to do them both .my ability to do both at the same time can help inspire other people to follow their dreams and to be able to do what they want in their lives.
7. What was the result of the contest world miss university that you participated in?
I won the 6th place in the competition as voted by the public .i was designated as an Emissary of global peace and through that role, I’m actively advocating for a better understanding of each other, so that all of us can work together to create a better place and a better world for all of us to live in.
