Via Verde Beauty & Fashion Meet 2018
The whole world may have watched the mighty fireworks dotting the city sky-lines and welcomed a new beginning with their arms wide open on the New Year’s Eve, the guests at the Via Verde Beauty & Fashion Meet 2018 had no less an experience on the night before – a cozy and nicely decorated ballroom of a private golf-club in Los Angeles, hosting 100+ distinguished guests from all around the county and outside to celebrate diversity and inclusion through the language of fashion & art.
At the hit of a moment, someone’s heart may have skipped a beat at the sight of the gorgeous models donning exclusive designer-clothing and jewelry and storming the red carpet amidst flashing lights and ravishing music.
And there she stands, a beautiful lady, completely oblivious to the enthralling charm she possesses and the contaminating energy she shares – Ms. Asmita Bhaduri, an Indian actress & model and the organizer of the event, her amicable smile outweighing her worried, but neatly cured eyebrows.
Starting from planning and preparation till exchanging courtesy personally with each and every guest, she did it all with the strength of her personality and dedication with the support of her husband Mr. Sushovan Dasgupta, who wore every hat possible to bring one of the best fashion events in Los Angeles to success.
The evening was crowned with 3 talented and successful designers, over 15 enigmatic runway-models, captivating Bollywood dance performance by ‘Taal N Tarana’, and a memorable musical epilogue by ‘RitFeatSushovan’.
Designers Vida Craddock (brand ‘Vida’), Ordonez Tiffani (brand ‘Gloria Ara Couture’), and Saumi Nandy (brand ‘Roong’) displayed their best collections before their upcoming venture at the London Fashion Week 2019.
The entire ballroom was silent for a moment when the showstopper, Angelica Alegria presented herself draping a hand-embroidered Indian Lehenga by Roong, Ms. Jennifer Zhu flaunted her bright red traditional Chinese attire with golden finish, and Mr. Fabian Meraz walked the ramp in men’s collections by Vida.
The show hit climax when the glitter and brightness of the bridalwear by Gloria Ara Couture filled every corner of the room as her models strolled past the audience.
In Ms. Asmita Bhaduri’s word, “What gave me the most satisfaction is the happy faces and smiles around me as I successfully presented my first ever fashion event”
