‘Oasis Foundation’ launched at RU
‘Oasis Foundation’, a voluntary organization with the slogan ‘We will strongly build society with education, serving and humanity’ for giving teaching to poor admission seeker at university level launched at Rajshahi University (RU) on Saturday evening on the campus.
University proctor Prof Dr Luthfor Rahman launched the organization at Rabindra Bhaban while student advisor was present as honorable guest on the program and chairman of social work dept. Prof Dr Sadequl Arefin Matin, Prof Dr Rukshana Begum of accounting and information system dept and former general secretary of RU Press Club were present as special guest.
A two-member committee has been formed while Arefin Medehi Hasan of accounting and information system made the convener and Shamim Reza of anthropology elected as member secretary.
The main purpose of the campus to give teaching to university admission seekers freely those are unable for giving fee in as pay.
